It’s that time of year again…. BLANKET DRIVE!!!! As you know, last year was the first year we tried to gather blankets for Wood Hill Towers. We were notified of this event by the Myers Family who serves breakfast on Christmas morning each year to the ENTIRE TOWER COMPLEX! Here is their website, if you would like to read more on how it got started. Last year our goal was 50 blankets, which if we are being honest we thought that was a HUGE goal. In true CFBN fashion, you killed it collecting over 70 blankets for the cause. This year we are upping the goal to 100 blankets. 100 BLANKETS!!
Like last year, we are taking donations from anyone, but our main goal is to tie this with the 12 Days of Christmas WoD like we did last year on 12/19. Buy in for the WoD will be 1 blanket or 50 burpees….. so blankets it is! There is already a sheet up in the lobby to sign up for heat times. Anyone is welcome! From another CrossFit gym? Bring them. Someone that wants to have fun for a good cause? Bring them! Someone you don’t like and want to secretly punish? Bring them!
This is one of the best events we threw last year and we are looking for more of the same this year! Even if you won’t be here you can still donate.
